Technical purpose of product or process PVC-P roofing and waterproofing sheets are applied in single layers and hot air-welded at the seams. They are safeguarded against wind suction by mechanical fastening, ballasting or adhesion. Technology description including background system PVC-P roofing and waterproofing sheets are manufactured in a dual-stage process. In a first step, the raw materials are blended and plasticised on an extruder. The synthetic mass is rolled out into foil on a calander. In a second step, the foils are reinforced with polyester fabric in the centre. Some PVC-P roofing and waterproofing sheets feature special fleece lamination on the underside. After cooling and final edge trimming, the products are packed. All production waste incurred is recycled in-plant and redirected to the manufacturing process. Declared unit: The declared unit is 1 m² average THERMOFOL roofing U (12/15/18/20/24), U (15/18/20) V and M (12/15/18/20) variants, mechanically fastened or fastened under load, sealed using hot air, including packaging materials.
