| Technology description including background system | FPO roofing and waterproofing sheets are manufactured in a single-stage process. The raw materials for the upper and lower layers are blended and plasticised separately on the extruders. The polyester fabric reinforcement is coated with the lower foil layer first, then the upper foil layer. Some FPO roofing and waterproofing sheets feature special fleece lamination on the underside. After cooling and final edge trimming, the products are packed. All production waste incurred is recycled and redirected to the manufacturing process. Declared unit: The declared unit is 1 m² average THERMOPLAN FPO roofing and waterproofing sheet T (12/15/16/18/20) and T (15/18/20) V variants, mechanically fastened or fastened under load, sealed using hot air, including packaging materials. |
